Today is President’s Day here in the United States, this is a day where we are supposed to reflect on the many accomplishments of our former Presidents. Instead, it has become a day full of sales on furniture, sheets and special financing on vehicles. On the plus side many business and government offices are closed, so those of us who are working today have much less traffic to deal with.
Speaking of furniture sales, I had lunch with my boss today. He’s actually spending some time outside of the office today looking for some new office furniture for our lobby since he want’s people to have somewhere to sit when they are waiting on us.
If you're curious what I have been doing with all my spare time lately, I have been busy remodeling my master bathroom. I've lived in my house for almost 10 years and this room has been ignored until now. Right now my shower has been reglazed, the new laminate flooring has been installed, my new vanity top and faucet are installed, and my baseboard is cut to size. Tonight I attach the baseboard to the walls and hopefully I will have enough time to install the new toilet. I am getting close to the end on this project and I am ready to have my bathroom back in action.
Now, onto a photo I wanted to share. This is a photo I took back in 2007 of a rabbit that was hanging out in my front yard. I have tried and tried to get the rabbits to leave my yard, but they just keep coming back. This wouldn’t normally be a problem, except they like to burrow under my front porch and no matter how many times I fill the burrows they keep coming back. Maybe it is time to try pouring some concrete into the burrows.
I am hoping to keep this photo sharing thing up and share at least one photograph per week on my site. These won’t necessarily be new photos, since I have a 5 year backlog of photos that I am constantly going through looking for my best shots to feature online. As I move photographs online you can view them at: gallery.timbob.com, feel free to browse around and let me know what you think.
