This is a picture of my boat taken during the summer of 2010 at Carlyle Lake in Illinois.  

I spent the afternoon anchored among other boats in an area called "Naked Beach." I am not sure how his area got it's name, since I have never once seen a naked person there, but this is basically the "party area" of the lake on any given Saturday or Sunday in the summer.

My boat is a 2003 Regal 2200 powered by a Mercruiser 5.0L MPI pushing 260HP. On a perfect day I can hit 49MPH with just one passenger and about 1/4 of a tank of gas. I could get a few miles per hour with a prop change, but my current prop performs well for mid-range cruising (25 - 35 MPH) and I rarely have the need for a high-speed run.
